Dip set is a 00s group because the group itself debuted in the 2000s. by your logic mj is an 80s artist and Whitney is a 90s artists. 90s vs 00s lyricism, how a nikka from the 90s become a 00s spitter? It's who's decade had better sputters. that means nikkas who kame out in the 90s vs Nikkas who kame out in the 2000s. How Nikkas who kame out in the 90s get brought into the 00s because of their success? I thought we was arguing about decades lyricism not who's decade had more successful albums. MJ wasnt big with the Jacksons like he was with thriller. Thriller sold over 100 million albums and bad sold 45 million. He didn't become a household name untill then. He was extremely popular but he went to another planet in the 80s. If you consider cam and Jada 00s rappers then MJ is a 80s singer and whitney is a 90s singer since her peak was that decade. Cam and lox do not count as 00s spitters they came out in the 90s. Nikkas like Lupe etc are 00s rappers, they kame out in the 00s dumb Nikka. So dumb nikka, are we arguing about lyricism or which decade these Nikkas was more popular? I think you nikkas is just young and don't remember these nikkas when they started, only in the 00s.

that's a TERRIBLE example breh. GRINDIN is your prime example? that song wasn't even popular for the lyrics. it was about the beat and the way they rode it. in fact, a lot of people didn't even look at the clipse as being nice like that until people heard more of their tracks. and even then, they weren't seen as top spitters.

and the 2000s was more than just punchline raps. just about all those guys are more than one-trick ponies. they could do all the '90s chit too, including the concepts & story-telling that you listed.
