AEW has many more women than that signed. Awesome Kong, Aja Kong, Sadie Gibbs, Allie, Hikaru Shida...Here’s a question though? If was never mentioned that Nyla was a tranny, would any of y’all really give a fukk?
It seems like it was mentioned once or twice and they moved on but everyone else is bringing it up more.
I have a feeling her so called “push” is more or less being pushed due to circumstances.
- Brit got that concussion earlier on that kinda took her away from the title and for them to be cautious,
- Then now the reports of something is wrong with Kylie,
- They can’t just put it in Brandie,
- And none of y’all want to see the Librarian as champ
That’s 4 of the first 5 woman talent they signed and been promoting.

No I know they do.... but I’m talking or going back to the Genesis of. They were the foundation for the division and you know they been planning for a minute all this shyt a lot of these girls came down the line when shyt was being set in motion plus behind the scene we also don’t know what deals some have. I just read one girl only has like a 5 show deal in place as of now.
I really think they wanted to go the Brit vs Kylie rout but that fukked up somewhere

AEW's women's division is pretty bad... they need a star or two in the worst way. Maybe try to sign Tessa Blanchard or something.
They need someone. Desperately. Tessa about the only person I could imagine being able to anchor a fledgling division in America not in the E... shame she's already doing it over on Impact. Who else has that ability? I mean, if they could grab Tessa, bring in Taya, drag in Allyson? A pack of halfway-thick white girls throwing each other around and looking like giants compared to the minijoshi; I could see it tracking well in like, Kansas or whatever. But at this point, it's just Impact's past/present. I wonder who out there they could pull in? Because I feel like there's a spot there, if they really use the joshi and Kong and such... NJPW doesn't have female talent, WOH is trash, WOW is almost worse, and Impact seems intent on fukking around with intergender more than anything. There's room for it, but I honestly think they can't get the workers.
I say this because I think that, for what they intend on doing, AEW will have NXT beat on everything but video packages and big match, prestige wrestling. Takeovers will wash all other wrestling events by and large, as usual. But I think AEW TV probably will have NXT beat in everything... but women's wrestling. I mean this: WWE developmental women's wrestling is better than AEW's main roster has any hope of being as of right now. Big facts. That... should not be the case.
But then again, the wrestling NXT puts out by and large tends to beat out WWE's main roster, too, so... eh.
They need that big female name to stand there with Cody, Nick, Matt and Kenny as the anchors of their myriad divisions. They, in effect, need their Wonder Woman, and I do not - no - I cannot believe Nyla, Riho, Britt or Brandi are that. They should try and steal Kelly Klein and her Baron-Corbin-ass stomach from ROH. (She lowkey a little bad though)
On the real, though; Sasha would eat in AEW. She's literally everything they need for that division. If this was real sports, I'd say they need to buy her contract out. Let her come in as Brandi x 100 on some 'I feel owed' heel shyt, effectively turning Brandi just out of sheer co-opting of the gimmick, and then you could bash your whole women's roster into her on some final boss villainous shyt. Instantly have a star with whoever you have beat her, but still have that big, brash personality looming around, so when she works back around to turning face, you can send her out to rep the product with Cody and Kenny and them, and you not only have a woman there, you have a minority woman with an abrasive, self-aggrandizing personality (something them NWA fans would feel at home with) and a convenient relative to bring up to solidify her minority-ness with Flair Country. It's not gonna happen but damn if she's literally not who this seems the most right for.
But... Watch them sign Priscilla.Kelly, put her in baggy pants and have her out there doing coffin drops and dikk-handle slams or something cause fukk me, right?
(Cuz. Let Tony Khan bring the bag and them nikkas sign Miesha Tate and Holly Holm and just feed them panhandle Indy workers to just die out there in half-shoots. What's the E gonna do? Trot Ronda back out? lol. In for that fukkery.)

I wish someone would pay Priscilla Kelly enough money to convince her to stop acting like a trash bag. She's got the look, some wrestling fundamentals, and a whole lot of charisma. She should be doing better than she is, except that what she's doing is Flea Market Wrestling stunts.
But anyway, I hope the rumors that Taya and Johnny are done with Impact are correct. I think those two could add value to the product. They have a certain star quality that's lacking on the roster.

I haven't watched ROH since the show from MSG. I am not familiar with any of their women's division. But if you're featuring The Beautiful People in THE YEAR OF OUR LORD TWO THOUSAND AND NINETEEN, you probably shouldn't have a women's division in the first place. I did like that Kelly Klein, though. She deserves better.

I don’t thing they “NEED” this big star y’all talking about they just need the time and for fans to give them a chance to prove or not prove if these guys are “that these guys are it”.
Now is a perfect time for everyone as best as they can to start on even grounding rising to the top vs have ONE BIG NAME that cannibalizes everything and all the talent and no one has a focus or gets their shine.
Prime examples of one direction vs the other.
Look at how the E just loves to just mainly highlight one person or a small handful like a Charlotte/Becky/ABliss (pre injury) and how at the expense everyone else looks like bums then it’s hard to sell them later as credible challengers or even champs should they decide to take the belt off them for a bit. Then try to force a “serious turn” with them ala Nattie only for them to still come out as what we thought they was.... bums.
Then look at how Lucha Underground did it with their females. All looked credible, all it not most for the most part were no names, and ultimately they all rose to the top in their own respectable manner. You may still like one over another ala personal choice, but it’s not a WWE thing where it’s Becky..... then everyone else

It wouldn't be a good look for AEW to crown Nyla as the first women's champ. They put themselves in this corner by neglecting the women's roster. They want the publicity that they're progressive, but I'm sure the locker room isn't going to perceive this positively.
