that what i been thinking... someone once told me that they went to college to be a Vet and everything they learned in college was taught to them in the first week...

bruh there are so many jobs like this...the only thing I believe a degree does is just weed out people.

Since so many people can do these jobs that take one week to learn, I think the degree just makes sure you have reliable people. But I think multiple jobs on a resume for an extended period of time would be just as reliable to me.

i dont agree with you on the multiple jobs part it could mean you keep on getting fired or you cant commit to the job

well they usually ask for a reference for the last job to see what happened...you could have just left each one because you wanted something better.

Yep my pops looked at me like when I told him we had no automobile workshops,how to create a resume, plumbing and electric workshop etc I looked at him like y'all had all of that back in high school.....thank god I had my grandfather and my dad in my life a Nikka would be lost

We have shop and career classes in the 8th and 9th grade here in Canada

crazy thing is... they used to teach ALL that

i think it was in hidden colors or a poster on thecoli post it but , the reason they took out a lot of trade skills in public schools is because they did not want Africans to learn how to do those skills
