Ross and Waka gotta get credit for helping forging this sound too. Yes, Gucci Mane put Luger, Mike Will, Southside, and slew of others on and he influenced later trap rappers, but Ross and Waka forged the sound with "BMF" and "Hard In The Paint Respectively" to the point that Hip Hop music still sounds like some variation of those songs.
