My first impressions of this album were he name dropped way too much, so I honestly didn't think much of him as a rapper. I would grow to appreciate him for his longevity, but anytime I revisit that album it's for the beats and beautiful mixing. My fav track is Need Your Love, Havoc flipped it so soulful.

Great summertime album, production and hooks are top notch

Game did a good enough job, but would improve as a rapper on DA

The Game might be a character nowadays but this album will always have a special place in my heart :takedat: I still remember being a kid in high school when this dropped. Stole that shyt from Walmart cause I was a stupid kid with no money 😆 but took that home and just vibed out, album banged from beginning to end and stayed in my cd player for months!

I still own that copy and will chuck it on every once and awhile 💨💨 it's a certified classic in my opinion

My only wish is the snoop dogg version of Westside story dropped instead of 50 cent

Speaking of left off songs, OG "Where Im from" with the Dre verse would have made this album even more epic. That verse was so dope :mjcry:

I was in basic training when this dropper. I ditched church to sneak off base to buy this album, best of both worlds 2, the massacre, & the b coming all at once along with a portable dvd and a Nintendo dis.

i stashed all my contraband in my bunkie locker being that he went to rehab for pills. Long story short. Drill sgts did a locker check and stole/destroyed almost all my shyt. The b coming & documentary were the only survivors.

with that said always thought it was a pretty good album. Not classic. Just really good. Damn good tho
