:heh: I remember I damn near had the same reaction. Only knew Pun from Twinz and Not a Player, HATED "Still Not Playa" and was mad the OG version wasnt on there, bought it anyway.

I'm sitting on the couch rolling up. Put the CD in and pushed play. Was annoyed by the blam blam blam cause I'm a nerd who came up on comic book battle message boards.

Beware starts, I'm somewhat listening like :jbhmm:

then

My squad is real and holds it down the hardest regardless
Besides of the largest, we polish the floor
With the rawest hardcore artists
Flawless victory you nikkas can't do shyt to me
Physically lyrically hypothetically realistically
I'm the epitome of catchin' wreck, catch you when you cash your check
Smash you when you pass then jack you for your fukkin' Lex
Nothin' less than the best if the squad did it
Hard-headed nikkas better beware and fear like God said it
:demonic:

I really tried to love this album. But it’s just ok to me

first time I've ever heard that take. when's the last time you bumped it? its cohesive and hits every style/demo while remaining authentic to the core. thats a rare feat. its a unique album. not a lot of MCs can spit like that while creating great songs; let alone a great album.

It's one of those records that follows the Life After Death blueprint pretty damn effectively. The street records are dope, the ladies tracks are solid, and rappity rap tracks are good, etc.
