Arguably his best album though a case can be made for TES.
TES had less shock value and more introspective content that aged better but MMLP had more rawness, better concept songs, and better production(with more Dre input).
Like someone said, this was the album that made Eminem who he has become and prevented people from writing him off as a fad or gimmick. Forgot About Dre blowing up the same year played a role in people taking Eminem more seriously as a rapper too.

You can say what you want, but Em from this album up to 8 Mile soundtrack is one of the greatest MCs to ever exist. This album is one of my favorite overall displays of lyricism ever.
