We knew this day was coming. Hes a rebuild coach and the rebuild is over. Find someone who knows what a rotation is, and how to call timeouts to stop runs.

He was great in helping us grow, but it's clear he wasn't growing with us

I'm about done with Kenny

I've never been a fan of his in-game coaching, but clearly he does well growing talent. We're not trying to grow talent anymore, its all supposed to be here. And in games we look lost.

We don't play defense, the only play on offense is "Set a pick, hope for a switch, ISO, throw up a shot. And the rotations, how about trying something new?

Someone's gonna take the fall for this, and it won't be the players (but they're just as much to blame)

Honestly im upset about this.. Who else is out there? Why now?

Taurean Prince gets benched like we all asked, we win dominantly and we have to watch jaque freaking Vaughn rest of the season now?

My guess is all the issues we've had with Kenny's in game decisions, the players felt the same way.

And honestly if things had soured already and he was leaving in 3 months, I'm fine with just doing it now. This season's lost, let Vaughn run the team like marks and the players want

No reason to be upset my g we've seen the writing the wall the whole time.

My only concern is whether this actually is mutual and if "players" that wanted him out include more than two names.

The reputation was built over a number of years of being classy from top to bottom, top facilities, cutting/trading players so they can go to better situations even if we don't have to or could've gotten more in return. I don't think any coach agrees to being let ago with 20 games left of a season, let alone a playoff bound coach. I care more about the reputation we've built out the mud than anything, right now it looks bad.

Only benefit I can truly think of to cutting him now is if you're tanking but we're so far ahead of WAS and they're so much better at being ass that it doesn't even matter. We can't slip out even if we lost the rest of the way.

Vaughn is Im glad its only 20 games.

I have no clue who we are going for next. Im guessing levert and.or din are probably next.

Even Allen...We have to pay him after next season ..spence also..probably going to package them cause i dont see us paying both big money

Yeah idk who's out there for candidates, the pool is pretty shallow. We're not on the timeline for a upstart college coach ala Stevens and I'd rather not have anybody from the usual JVG, Thibs, Mark Jackson etc carousel.

I guess I'm not too bothered since we would've been in this position one way or another anyway. The replacement more than likely is already lined up, we just have to wait until May-June to find out.

This entire experiment always came down to the health of KD, not Kenny or anybody else tbh. So nothing's really changed

Can’t tell if it’s organizational spin or not but everyone’s repeating the same thing, players and Kenny himself felt that time was up. Imagine having to coach Quincy Acy and Justin Hamilton, then getting KD and Kyrie on your team, only to get fired before coaching them

The single biggest decision in team history is coming up. I pray we don’t choose wrong

I don't believe he strong armed Marks into this. Marks refused to take this job without full authority to do what he wants. Tsai and the players may have pushed for it but I don't believe Marks didn't approve it
