Pitt had a top 20 defense last year and returned 7 starters so it's not like they were playing some 1AA team or whatever they callin that shyt these days.

Obviously not a top 10 team but it was a conference game. On the road. And it was dude's first game at this level. If a 5th year Sr. put up those numbers it would be impressive. This was a RS frosh with BIG expectations. Expectations = pressure. He not only met, but he exceeded those expectations with a virtually flawless performance. If there was ever a debut to be excited about, this was it. He didn't just play good. He didn't just play great. The nikka was damn near perfect.

He was drafted as a pitcher already in the MLB. They say he was drafted lower because teams knew he wanted to pursue football first. He plays baseball at FSU and can throw fastballs no problem. He has the arm.
