I had high expectaction for the Eastern Conference but it seems the usual suspects haven't improve much like the Nets, Detroit, and Philly..The Heat doesn't really haven't any huge obstacle this season unless the Nets get their act right and the Bulls get another dynamic scorer. The Pacers are still the same Pacers. Their offense is still They are getting by with defense and rebounds alone. They won't get far if they can't improve their perimeter game

half the league is tanking this year, including the half of the teams in the top 8 of the east right now. orlando and toronto are both 2-3 game losing streaks away from being at the bottom of the east.

The Western Conference is a lot more interesting than the Eastern Conference. They are 10 teams that are .500 or above.. It will get even more interesting when Kobe comes back from injury.

But keep in mind Brooklyn will get their act together eventually and when they do, that top 4 in the east of Miami/Indy/Chicago/BK is as good as any team in The West
