:russ:...That not a good thing now?

they go out of their way to protect that shooting percentage.

i think durant and deron williams are 2 players who have admitted they don't put up those last second heaves at the end of the quarter because it would hurt their stats.

It was Bron and D Wade that admitted this

I don't think Kobe was statpadding in the 81 points game

Raptors were up 18 points in the 3rd quarter. Lakers needed Kobe to go Super Saiyan to win that game.
the game was than out of reach with 5 mins left and the laker team stop playing defense on purpose to just get the ball back and every player just passed to him with no legit offense

it was the definition of stat padding

stat padding is what the losing team/player says about the other team/player to justify not being able to stop them in game....
:heh:you might be on to something there.

If my team was getting killed and I seen Durant shoot and hit a three I might be yelling "stop shooting you stat padding bytch!!! Cant you see we cant stop you:damn:

Nah basically stat padding is ...Rajon Rondo

Not saying Rondoisnt a great player. He is. But the kid goes out of his way to get assist numbers. I've seen Rondo on a 3-1 fast break where he clearly had the better shot at the lay-up but slowed down and risked defenders catching up and losing the opportunity so he could dish the ball and get the assist.

It was a while ago but, I remember seeing Joel Anthony go for a rebound and Bron jumped in front of him and snatched it down.

Joel was like :skip: "damn nikka, you can have it then"

I'd be salty as hell if I was a post player or a point guard on the Heat. You got one guy running to get all the rebounds when that's the big man's job and getting all the assists when that's the point guard's job.
