Low age of consent laws are for people around the same age, meaning a 16-year-old can sleep with someone 2 years older than them, most states regulate it so the older person still has to be in high school. There is nowhere in the United States where a grown man can sleep with a girl under 18.

In 99% of those sates it's only legal if the man is a couple of years older, like in Washington I don't think you can be 35 and sleep with a 16-year-old, but a 16-year-old can marry a 19-year-old for example.
