Album is absolute flames without cube. Yes cube was the best rapper in the clique and yes it was a loss. But the album is dope as fukk STILL.

Listen to that album with this line in mind, "Tryna sound like Amerikkka's Most, you can yell all ya want but you won't come close", and it's even worse.

Dre/Ren/Eazy all yelling into the tracks :russ:

'No Vaseline' remains the most vicious breakdown ever. Common came close if it wasn't for that bullshyt "Ain't made shyt dope since Amerikkka's Most..." line.

N4L sounded much better and complete compared to the first imo. Cube writing less it also sounded better lyrically. Yes, Cube evolved as an emcee but his early shyt was pretty basic and Ren writing alot on the sohpmore was alot more dope.

Alwayz Into Sumthin' is my fav track. :ahh:

I prefer Cubes work outside of NWA .

And I prefer this album over NWA's other work.

Still a very good album, just not as good as "Straight Outta Compton." Ice Cube made the right move leaving. If he hadn't done that, we may never have had his classics or Dre's classics.

Look deeper, without Cube leaving, we may never have seen all the artists Dre put out that have become big names in Hip-Hop.

The first half of that album is flames. The second half dropped off considerably due to the over the top and unnecessary misogyny. If Cube was there, he could have balanced it out with more introspective and realistic subject matter.

But then we wouldn't have the PE influence that gave birth to the more conscious Ice Cube who created arguably the greatest album in any genre - Death Certificate.
