And X was not bigger than j once biggie died...dmx wasn't even heard of at that point...we didn't hear of X til bout mid to late 98....Jay was workin on his third album by then. X was around but very underground. Jay came out with streets is watchin in 98....no one really knew of X then (maybe in ny)....people postin just anything

I agree with most of this, but X was known before mid to late '98. There was "4,3,2,1" by LL Cool J, his features on Harlem World, The Lox's "Money, Power, Respect", and Cube's "We Be Clubbin'" remix. Then you had X's own singles in early '98 (at the very least "Get At Me Dog").
