at complaining about a Tarantino script being adapted/directed by David Fincher in a cool setting like OUTAIH

That might be the reason why he scrapped The Movie Critic. I read that he basically readapted the script he had for that film and ended up with the base for this project that Fincher is gonna tackle. So Tarantino kinda realized he was doing a sequel and since he's so hellbent in his dumb ass "only 10 films" rule, he wanted something fresher as his last movie.qt has been stuck in this world for a bit too long. We got a movie and a book and now a sequel? And fincher has been pretty flabby on the movie front. Killer was okay but he's been stuck in streaming land for a decade
If he considered kill bill 2 movies like everyone else he would be at 10 with a perfect ending. That might be the reason why he scrapped The Movie Critic. Kill Bill was shot as 1 movie from the beginning. Miramax said it was too long. Instead of cutting it down, which QT refused, they made it into 2 parts. If he considered kill bill 2 movies like everyone else he would be at 10 with a perfect ending.
Superbad if that countsI’m sitting here watching after a couple of years struggling to think of a movie with this combination of heavy hitters & people who were relatively unknown at the time who would go on to become heavy hitters
It’s astounding
