I kind of expected a loss like that on the road, so credit to Wisconsin for playing over their heads at Crisler. Michigan's switching was subpar vs ball screens, which is partially to blame for some of the open looks. Other than Roddy and Yaxel, nobody could check Blackwell or, to a lesser extent, Boyd. I know Wisconsin's bigs were shooting around 29% coming in but philosophically Wisconsin chucks up a bunch of 3s and don't take long 2s, so eventually somebody is going to hit something if given enough space. The difference between 29% and 42% is one shot (2-7 is 28.5% and 3-7 is 42.8%). @Illinois and Nebraska are both 5 out teams, so they'll have two chances to tweak their defense. While sparty isn't 5 out, Jaxon Kohler is a stretch big who would thrive in that situation. Oregon also has a pick and pop big, so that's something to watch given PSU.
Some thing to note is that Michigan hasn’t shot well in the last three conference games. Even in the 30-point win over USC, they shot 47/20/72 from the field, from three, and at the line. Michigan's toughest games are on the road, so losing a home game puts a lot of pressure on them if they want to win the league. Other teams will have to win their games too, so nothing to fret over.
Syla was out, but Michigan is deeper than your mother's purse when the family goes to the movies.
