If it does great at the Box Office it's pretty much a done deal.
A well respected filmmaker with 11 nominations and zero wins getting this kind of hyperbolic praise isn't gonna lose if the film is a commercial success to top it off.

PTA's great but there has to be some type of message in this movie that WP can give themselves a self pat on the back on in race relations like those black and white hugging or holding hands pictures. There Will Be Blood didn't even score this high and that's arguably the best movie this century, so far.
