I thought you were saying one catalog gets erased from history I chose Jay

If it's who I'll never listen to again, Nas I don't listen to him much as it is.

you my friend do not like street reporters. you like rappers who talk more about themselves then they do about whats going on out there in those streets.
thats your choice but its true

That may have some truth to it but it has nothing to do with why I put those two on the copping block.

I would def say I gravitate more toward introspective artists though, but my process for this thread went like this...

nikkas already know with me Pac wasn't going anywhere...ever.

Cube getting the boot in this case has to do with the fact that all things aside he's the least impressive to me from a song writing/technical standpoint between the remaining emcees, especially post-predator...

Remember we ain't just talking PRIME, we talking about whole discography and while his prime run is CRAZY, he didn't maintain the type of consistency that Jay or Nas have, as rhymers.

As for the erasure of NWA by omission of cube...that shyt was a double edged sword anyway, but later for that :myman:

me and older brother have the same views on pac so it comes down to nas jay-z and cube

cube as i much ive grown to like his music but nas and jay-z have more longevity musically speaking

they got more classic albums then cube same with pac so cube got to go.

I wouldn't want any to go, would be Cube's I'd probably pick, then Jay's. The other 2 are vital. Of course ideally wouldn't want anyone's to go though, Cube's N.W.A work and AWM really should stay, but the issue for me would be the subsequent work. So the others have better body's of work overall to me.

Mannn.... it's either Jay or Cube. Blueprint is one of my favorite albums, but he's has a lot of missteps in his catalog.
Nas is my favorite & Pac is the obvious keeper for everyone

Nas is my fav rapper so he's out of the equation. Couple years ago I'd have said Pac, but I've been appreciating his shyt more and more with time.

I think Cube has a better catalogue than Jay, especially his NWA/early albums, but out of the 4, he's the one I listen least to. So I'd (sadly) go with him...

For the whole rap game id pick Jay.
