You tried to Shoe horn nas as one of the pioneers of that style when he was "biting" from those dudes too, going by your own logic.
Fact is, there was a drastic shift in Nas' Style between Illmatic and IWW. This is fact.
Rae, ghost and Big took the Mafioso stuff to new heights and everybody from that time period was influenced by it, no more no less.

Wouldnt put Biggie up there at all. His came out '97 & by that time he caught flack for biting too. Dont see any influence he had in the game as far as mafiaso raps at all. IWW came '96. But you're right. Most back then were catchin flack for "biting/jocking" Rae & Ghost after OB4CL. Most were tho, including Jay-Z.

i said Jay performs hits for an hour then plays intros to songs ie album cuts. The crowd raps these bar for bar before he just decides to move on. He dont even touch the mic. He goes to the dj..they play the song..the crowd raps bar for bar...album cuts...act like the nikka discography aint 20 years deep with at least a millie sold every time. Act like another rapper has done that. That's my point.
