How was TM101 a true trap album when Trap Muzik existed before it did? You could say its the best trap album ever made, but to say its a true trap album after your initial statement is rather contradictory.

Trap muzik was just a regular southern gangsta rap album not really a trap album

Ti just introduced the trap to the world & altantas spin on what goes on in there dope spots

101 was a trap album in true form from the beats selection & album structure to talking cocaine the whole album

Thats why 101 is more influential than trap muzik

Ross the only one out of the four with no classic

 people really saying Jeezy? He's the most certified with trap or die and TM101

Ross stans are delirious

Lyrically, beat selection, features & cohesiveness DTR, Teflon don, rich forever, black market >>>>> trap muzik, tm101 & C3

And im talking all those components together

Only thing missing is acclaim ross came after those guys so of course those albums get celebrated & cherished way more

But music quality & consistency ross is 1 of the best :manny:

You're contradicting yourself. How was Trap Muzik not a trap album if it introduced the world to the trap?

How are you claiming Jeezy's album is a true trap album without having a reference point? What's even crazier is that much of Jeezy's album has elements of previous Southern classics as well. It has a song that samples a song from Trap Muzik. There's "Go Crazy" which is based on a soul sample. There's the Mannie Fresh produced single, "And Then What" which is a typical Mannie track. The Jazze Pha production isn't exactly new territory sonically either. "My Hood" and "Trap Star" aren't new ground either. So it's basically the intro, "Standing Ovation", "Air Forces" and "Bottom of the Map" that presented something sonically different.

Didn't you just claim Trap Muzik is a Top 5 Southern album? So unless the albums you're claiming are better are 1-4, you're either trolling or purposely killing your own argument.

Like i said trap muzik means more to the south than those other albums

Before that specific album came out the south wasnt really impacting the streets

And even saying its top 5 is a bit of a exaggeration but in terms of southern gangsta rap trap muzik is the pinnacle

Its just like the documentary it means more to LA than many other great albums even the chronic but overall its not better

There are many southern album's better than trap muzik overall but that album can have its own movie

This is laughable. You're really trying to sell T.I. albums as forgettable, but pass Black Market and Black Dollar as classics? And for the record, I think highly of Black Dollar, but it's not a classic. Black Market is just good and sits in the middle of Ross's catalog.
How do you rank Ross's catalog?

I'll give you two

Wayne and TI

I fukked with Wayne in like 04/05 during the Sqad Up tapes. But he became wack from 07 onwards. Doesn't help that he's also a lame.

TI: I fukk with random TI songs but not entire albums like Jeezy and Ross.

really tho

that ain't gangsta

Rick Ross can go! He's spent a portion of his career trying to be a Biggie stand in.

Wayne had an amazimg run plus he was always my fav from cash money, along with Juvenile.

T.I. off the strength of his first 4 albums. Lawd knows Urban Legend spoke to me.

Jeezy...I fukked with him hard. Ultimate trap poet.
