year average? Far from it.

Exactly if the starting point for Jay-Z's career is 1996 then its has to be 1994 for NaS; yes NaS had some well know features prior to his album dropping Jay-Z did features prior to RD as well they just were not that note worthy. In that line Jay-Z includes NaS pre illmatic features and excludes his pre RD career even if your Jay-Z stan you have to admit thats kinda lame.
