Yeah y'all were coming off a rough back to back and we were short our two top scorers. So it's a wash. And y'all still got y'all asses bust.
Phil was a victim of prior mistakes (no 1st in two of his 4 drafts), and his own indecisiveness. Could've fully committed to a rebuild but he gave Melo a huge deal + the NTC. That led to bad "win now" moves that triggered buyers remorse immediately. Handled the attempt to trade Melo terribly. Whiffed on his first head coach, and created an awkward situation for his second with the triangle conundrum.
