Definitely different from MOTM 1 x 2, but stands out as a great CD in its own right. Definitely not a "true" hip hop album though, more of a hybrid of different types of music.

If you really like the first 2 albums...you won't like this. Cudi's production was incredible on MOTM1...it suited his style perfectly.

MOTM2 was similar, but slightly different, regardless that album was still dope. This one...you can tell he did the beats himself and tried to mimic them to sound like "his style" that were used too.

If you have ever made beats in your life you should easily be able to tell that the beats don't hold up to what we heard on his first albums....similar to when Eminem started producing.

Listened to it once, and haven't since ... which upsets me because I'm a huge Cudi fan.

I don't think he fell off, but the direction he's going doesn't suit my interests. There are like 3 songs from it I put on my driving playlist though. Maybe I'll give it another chance.

It's weird because i'll always check for cudi, but i really don't like him overall, it's always 3 or 4 amazing songs among some shyt that makes me itch. But that good shyt is really good shyt.

I'll be the first to admit I'm late to the Cudi mania even though a few years back when he first released "Day & Nite" and "Pursuit of Happyness" I always thought those were really great songs. I just never did check out his albums until just like a month or so ago because I thought I might be disappointed when I heard the whole albums but I was wrong.

I haven't listened to his albums enough to really be able to differentiate the differences between them but he's got some songs that I do like.
