"Yo, Tiggalo & 9th Wonder maybe
we got yo girl undalating
to the rhythm of the drum, wet t-shirt lookin like a vacation
take it off like Monday baby.
And there will be no underrating
so please hold your applause
let it bump a little up in your cars
They say "
that boy's back"
nikka this is black board rap
you can gon on chalk it up to a loss
And if you gotta problem wit it, walk it up to da boss
and getcha card pulled like Pitty Pat
body a verse and put it in a pinebox

This is my favourite track off Wonder Years. Phonte's verse is so cold and Median was sick.

Call me crazy @TheDarceKnight but am I reaching by saying Phonte and Median's chemistry >>> Phonte and Poohs?

My favrorite track on Wonder Years also. It took me right the fukk back to The Listening. I don't now if it was an old 9th beat or not but it really sounded like it.

And you aren't bugging at all. Median and Phonte have awesome chemistry. 9th has told the story before, but Median was actually supposed to be on Speed instead of Pooh but couldn't make it. So in an alternate universe Little Brother easily could've been 9th, Phonte, and Median.

Here's a bunch of songs with Phonte and Median rapping together to enjoy.

Yea I liked this joint more than any of the 9th/Phonte collabs on Charity Starts At Home, joint sounded like it could have been recorded during LB's peak

[Verse 1: Phonte]
Back with that new new to tell you where I come from
Sing a song so I could never be unsung
They think I'm on some, being fair weather
Its just my ensemble don't care whether
You shake your tail feathers, or your pom poms
Razor
sharp nikka bong bong
Its a bad time to be a mc if you ain't rhyming right
I spit that China white nikka call it Hong Kong
Hit the city to see one of my school mates
Making six figures but she still got a roommate
Just to have a downtown apartment and some outfits
And you asking why I never leave the south, shyt...

Yeah totally. To me if LB had been Phonte and Median, that's what their first album would've sounded like.

The joint with Median and Phonte on CSAH always fukked with me because I could nod my head to it and the tag team rapping is some of the best that Phonte and Median have ever done, of not the very best, but that constant sound throughout the entire beat gets tiring and distracting IMO.

EDIT: My bad, I read it as Tay and Median, not Tay and 9th. I thought The Good Fight was the best beat 9th did on CSAH.

Also I always thought this beat was so upbeat and happy but was some of Phonte's most aggressive rhyming. That 2nd verse from Phonte was so hard especially near the end and it sounds funny with the beat. Still great though.

Good Fight and Not Here Anymore were dope, just thought Band Practice was better. I really didn't like Eternally, that beat just sounded sterile and lifeless to me.
