Cody Rhodes had been a boring CAW face teaming with Hardcore Holly. Ted "Not My Dad" Dibiase Jr challenged them and had a mystery partner. That mystery partner....was Cody Rhodes, a turn most people predicted. Outside of the feud with the very shytty version of DX, they really never amounted to anything. Even as Legacy with Orton, they were simply lackeys, and weren't elevated in any way. Legacy was probably one of the worst stables, along the likes of The Corre.

there was little to no build for Cody or Ted for that to happen on a ppv.

and fukked up the legacy turn by turning Orton when every single thing on tv pointed to Ted being frustrated and whooping Orton ass and turning face.

SD was good in 2008. Raw was in 2008 besides the Jericho/HBK feud. I know there were other feuds, but that's the only true standout feud with good matches I can think of.

The only thing I remember about WWE in 2008 is Mayweather/Big Show and Flair/HBK...which were good in retrospect. Since I'm on a time travel kick with the Network (while my trial is up), I'll pay 2008 a visit to see what I missed.
