One of the things I like about Steph's game is he doesn't depend on getting to the line

:mindblown: NOBODY depends on getting to the line to be effective.

Ya'll nikkas making up shyt just to prop Curry up when its not even needed. And you making it seem like drawing fouls is horrible. IF you can do it without flopping and over exaggerating then so be it.

Drawing fouls is effective to slow down a teams momentum. And one fouls are like 3 pointers. You put teams one foul closer to being in the penalty. Getting your opponent in foul trouble is one way of opposing your will on them. Curry is slender anyway so why the fukk would he be trying to bow his way to the line and risk getting hurt.

I would love to see how his game would translate if hand checking is allowed. THAT's basically the secret piece to his success.

:comeon:

D. Wade didn't get the name D-Whistle just for fun.

Michael Jordan stayed on a parade to the stripe too. Especially later in his career.

Not saying they're dependent on it, but damn if it doesn't help tremendously to go to the line a dozen or more times per game.

I'm tired of this argument too. The way y'all make it sound is like he's a prodict of the rules. If that's the case, where's the other players benefitting? NOBODY is even doing close to what Curry does.

It's like that stupid argument about Kobe just being "a Jordan copycat". Well hell, if it was that easy, why isn't everyone else doing it? If you can make hundreds of millions of dollars just by copying Jordan, where is everyone else?

That's my WHOLE point. Players don't depend on getting free throws. If that's he case everyone would do it. The whole premise of the thread was to say Curry is the only player that's great who doesn't depend on drawing fouls which is utter bullshyt.

:mjpls: Bruh, if guards can hand check and physically move Curry he wouldn't be as effective. He would have to adapt. I'm not saying he couldn't. I just said I would like to see how he adapted.
