& Lauryn and Erykah are overrated because of their Pro Black gimmicks. Both got around but nobody talks about it because of respectability politics. Erykah can walk around in parks butt naked around little kids with no warning for a video and have multiple baby daddies but people will focus on a chick that's an easy target. Not to mention Erykah (with her baby daddies) has the audacity to call other women "hoes" and shame them. Self righteous bullshyt. No different from Lauryn and her sleeping with/ stealing a married man, having kids by him and writing gems/beautiful songs. Gotta stop looking at these celebs as role models and be able to just say you like their music or image because most of the shyt we know/see of them is a facade and gimmick.
