thats only due to how little amount of volumes OP has released. in terms of individual vol sales OP beat Kingdom

I'm alternating between reading and watching
I'm on the 80s of the anime

You're better off reading the manga, the anime sucks outside of the OST. It's gotten a little better in the current arc but pacing is still a problem.

Other than that you haven't really gotten to the point where the worldbuilding is shown to be virtually unmatched by most stories currently running, one of the main reasons people praise OP so much

I always felt OP was great from chapter 1. The characters clicked with me like no other anime/manga. 15 years later and I still have it as my undisputed #1.

Oda had a months long sickness hiatus that lessened the amount of volumes released. On top of the regularly scheduled breaks

I just like that Kingdom is doing so well in spite of not being in SJ. And the the mangas in so similar in scope, world building, planning etc.
