Without giving too much away...From some work I did around that part of the world. Mainly north Africa, east Africa and some middle east countries
The western embassies have lines which in some cases are miles around the block. Crazy stuff. The elites in those societies send their kids to school in the 'degenerate' west. If their society is all that why do the elites send their kids to Europe and America? Why send them to the west? Why not send them to school in another Muslim country?

Repression of women has effectively decimated the working class in most Muslim majority countries. So many scientists, doctors,lawyers and diplomats never were, whether de jure or social tradition.
Sexual repression is so rife within Muslim society that women fall victim to sex crimes at the holiest site in Islam while performing hajj.
Plus on a more local level, a lot of the tenets of Islam dealing with separation of labor and gender (ikhtilat) are completely discordant with African/Negroid culture. It‘s the Arab and White man who don’t see woman as sovereign and relegate them to the nursery.
This is why it’s best everyone stick to they own scrip…nikkas tryna put on somebody else clothes that will never fit you.

Are you really going to compare Ataturks Turkey to the average Muslim country? There are gay night clubs in Istanbul you know that right?
A few years ago the hijab was even banned in Turkey. Turkish were forced to liberalize after the Ottomans were humiliated in WWI.
Erodgan is trying to make it more conservative but he will fail. I remember a story of a big mufti in Turkey complaining about night clubs and drinking spots in Istanbul, The minister told him "if we get rid of them where are we going to get the taxes to pay for your religious activities?"
