One thing I don't like about iOS 8

Sometimes like 12+ hours , sometimes 8ish, make sure you have your phone optimized for batter life. Use "reduce motion" to stop that 3d effect. Turn off background app refresh, disable email push. Etc etc etc.

I'm an extreme heavy user btw. I'm not getting 24 hours outtA a this phone like the reviewers

check to the battery usage section in setting to see what apps are draining the batt the most

Just checked, and The only thing that is killing my battery is safari. shyt is disappointing. I'm on the Internet and it burns my battery like crazy. I think something is wrong. I'm bringing it to apple tomorrow.

I just lost 2% points in like 1 minute, just browsing the coli. shyt is fukked up.

A text message is what it is not.

It's a native instant messing client that's like 100 x fast than than SMS, integrated with sms and with read recipets, delivered notification and notification when they are typing. Voice messages, video message are built right in and are sent and recvd much faster than they are on other devices

It's also integrated with the iPad and iMac/MacBook. So when I have to let my phone charge I can continue my convos on any device. At this point, texting people with out iPhone is so bothersome I barely talk to them.

it also doesn't use text messages either... you can ichat with no service and wifi.. you can't do that with sms

but yeah i dont like that notification shyt, also seems to get stuck in landscape mode from time to time..

iphone 6 / os 8 is pretty much the biggest hater in the world

-now when you drag down the notifications when someone texts you, (if you got it enabled) itll show a read receipt. Before it didnt, when I first got my iphone 6 i didnt know it did this and this girl was sending me angry female paragraph long texts and I was just sliding em down to see the BS but ignoring her. She sent me a "fukk you too then ignoring me when im trying to share my emotions with you" type text I was like how she know I seen that shyt, then sure it enough it showed read

-shows recently deleted pictures nah get that shyt the fukk outta here ASAP

-shows recent calls/texts when you double tap the home button get that shyt the fukk outta here too

-shows recent pictures you sent someone in their details


im pretty positive whoever had a hand in designing os 8 was some scorned nerd who got cheated on.. on some Mark Zuckerberg making Facebook to get back at his ex type shyt.. its just too many options to get caught up on OS 8 to be a coincidence..

IOS is set up for some hating shyt tho if you don't thoroughly tweak those settings.

outside of my inlaws, NO ONE I communicate with regularly doesn't have imessage. when I see a green message pop up, I get offended.

I turned off "reduce motion" back when IOS7 first dropped cuz it was one of the factors contributing to draining the hell out the battery. this was back when I had the 4S tho.

I got osx Yosemite installed on my dell laptop and the phone integration is cool. Being able to place calls from your laptop via your phone is smooth. Haven't had a chance to test out call and text relay yet tho. You gotta upgrade to 8.1 for that

8.0.2 update also allows this on your ipad. I disabled the feature on mines tho.
