One thing I'm really missing during quarantine is bar food

I've really been missing good bar food. In my town there's an Irish pub and they have the usual bar stuff like burgers and wings, but also hearty dishes like Shepherd's Pie and Gaelic Chicken. Ireland isn't really known for having good cuisine, but the modern take on it can be very good.

Here in New York, the selection varies. Many places serve little to no food but there a lot of placed that serve typical bar food, Irish pub food, hipster stuff, etc. As well as Mexican restaurants that double as bars.

What kind of food do bars serve where you live? I see pictures of bar food from Texas and a lot of it looks really good. Like chicken fried steaks with that white gravy.

I never liked bar food unless I was tipsy then most things tasted good because I was feeding the alcohol. I mainly miss going to restaurants. There’s this restaurant in DC I loved going to with my SO. Their food was and they also had a live band every time we went. The whole atmosphere was awesome.
