One thing I'm really missing during quarantine is bar food

There’s this German bar down the road from me that also specialized in like sausages. Really good sausages. They tried staying open for take out but ended up closing a few weeks ago. I’m hearing they probably won’t reopen. A lot of local spots may not be coming back Im seeing . It’s lowkey sad.

I fear that a large chunk of bars and restaurants might never recover from this.

I never liked bar food unless I was tipsy then most things tasted good because I was feeding the alcohol. I mainly miss going to restaurants. There’s this restaurant in DC I loved going to with my SO. Their food was and they also had a live band every time we went. The whole atmosphere was awesome.

Now it’s just a memory

Lol when the vibe is good, it can be a really great experience. I miss it. I tried to recreate it at home with candles and some chill music but it wasn’t the same.

Bars I go to have some decent seafood. After a few drinks, I like to get the shrimp and fries or a catfish sandwich. Can’t go wrong with some catfish nuggets, either.

i miss my 50c WINGS at my local Irish pub......Post up there around 3pm on Wing day, watch Jeopardy at 3:30, dip around 4.....

My other spot had the NY strip steak day for like $10 w/ side.

I dont really miss restaurants like that but the bar food i do

Theres a couple of irish pubs near me that have good food but they're expensive. $17.50 for cheeseburger and fries $16 for chicken tenders
