Most activities are not done out of desire, they are done to socialize.
I think about why I haven't been to a concert, a bowling alley, of a skating rink at the age of twenty. The answer is that I've never had anyone to go with. A parallel can be drawn with media. I don't really care about the stuff on the radio or following up on the latest TV shows. Is it because I don't have friends who I can share the experiences with?

Just some food for thought.

It seems like all the good shut in life is unavailable unless you have a lot of money or status. I could try to enjoy life, but that wouldn't stop others trying to bring me down.

thee grand thing about being a voracious reader,thinker,meditate-r,astralnaut,observer(without participating),empath,drug user,and all around weirdo nomadic monk is that talking to yourself is more entertaining 90% of thee time then talking to others,especially in person..you humanoids are semi-interesting to watch from afar but once you intertwine&interact with them personally any luster just withers away like cotton candy..

Maybe you just don't like that shyt....I like standing around talkin shyt with people and don't really give a damn about a skating rink,the newest movies,a bowling alley....I will go do those things with people who I like standing around and talking shyt with though...so yeah I do stuff I might not neccesarily care about cuz its about the company...So yes it is combination of both probably, you simply don't care about the shyt you named and don't find it exciting,But if you had friends and good company you might enjoy the time you spent doing those things so you would go do them but it would really be about the company versus you suddenly loving to skate....if that makes sense

So yeah go get some friends and go find some shyt you enjoy doing on your own and maybe youll make friends who will help you enjoy doing shyt thats not naturally enjoyable is the moral to this story.

feeling older than your years isn't a bad thing, i been the same way all my life...shyt i'm 25 and most my close friends are older than me

but the more you socialize the more you will empathize and relate to people,and the easier it will be...i like being alone more often than not because it lets me unwind and do shyt i don't usually have time for and just experience shyt, but if you don't balance it out with some interaction with other people you will lose your damn mind

why do you think being put in the hole in prison is considered a punishment? it ain't healthy to not have some contact and communication with folks
