I always hate that numbers get retired. Hakeem Nicks has to wear #14 becuz u know who wore 88. :whoa: Of course one of the greatest human beings and players deserve to be acknowledged:merchant: but thats what Ring of honors are for. Whats gonna happen when all the good numbers are retired :mindblown:

Leagues should outlaw this. It has to hurt merchandising a lil.

it actually helps merchandising....it means they can make even more money off players after they retire.

nobody should ever wear #2 at FSU again, same with Jerrys 80 in SF, Emmitts 22, Ray's 52.
