I always hate that numbers get retired. Hakeem Nicks has to wear #14 becuz u know who wore 88. Of course one of the greatest human beings and players deserve to be acknowledged but thats what Ring of honors are for. Whats gonna happen when all the good numbers are retired

Leagues should outlaw this. It has to hurt merchandising a lil.

it actually helps merchandising....it means they can make even more money off players after they retire.

nobody should ever wear #2 at FSU again, same with Jerrys 80 in SF, Emmitts 22, Ray's 52.
