Retiring numbers in football is dumb, especially when you numbers locked into certain positions. With 58 man rosters, you'll evetually run out.

They can be exceptions , but soon nobody will be able to play for the Yankees and wear a number in single digits. Eventually dudes gonna wear triple digits.

There's 100 different options for numbers :beli:

0-99 No baseball team is in danger anytime soon of running out

even there are no numbers in the teens or single digits anymore, that leaves 81 different numbers for players to choose from.

I actually like seeing the franchise's next generation of star players wear the numbers of legends that came before them, like Pearson to Irvin to Dez, builds tradition. Now the next big WR to come through Dallas in 20 year will want that no. 88 because of the history behind it

I was in practice all summer and when it came the to choose jerseys,I had chosen #21. I missed 2 days of practice for personal family matter and when I came back some nikka who walked on and missed the first 4 weeks of practice came into the team and bumped me to 20. Til this day I hate that nigguh with a burning passion:leostare:
