If he didn’t file lawsuit then Cole would have looked worse. The only saving grace is Drake is too big to be put on the pedestal next to Ja Rule.
Stop telling me there’s no rules in battles and complaining about lawsuits. Rap battles aren’t sanctioned by some sort of league or government. They’re functionally a byproduct of a genre of music that most people until recently didn’t take seriously and already seems like it might be dying out.

Breh there’s only been one person who lost a rap battle and decided to sue over it. To make it worst he was too bytch made to even sue his opponent. He literally sued his record label for alleged favoritism, which has been proven he had no problem using in previous battles. That makes it 10x worse than backing out of it.

Trash song, objectively. He solidifed himself as a fraud and a flop artist after the beef. Couldn't produce a single good song during the beef and after the beef. 99% of his songs flopped.
It's hindsight (even though I said this around the time), but Drake's best strategy was just to make individual records to everyone dissing him, or at least the main rappers. Even if the quality wasn't there, people would have given him a lot of credit for even attempting that, and the Kendrick shyt wouldn't have been as potent.
