It's crazy that a year has already gone by since Mac Miller died. He was one of the greats of this decade and was only getting better before he passed. He was super talented too. Dude could rap, make beats, play multiple instruments, and even sing a little bit. His artistry and work ethic was outmatched by most of the game. His discography is exceptional. He's gone but his art will live forever. RIP Mac

This is why we need to end the war on drugs. Please people, within your lifetime make this a cause you are vocal about - because you don’t have to do drugs to feel the effects that these policies have on our society, the negatives entirely outweigh the drugs themselves. The polices only serve to empower the black market and criminal element - abroad this enables violent cartels to prosper, in turn these cartels rise in power and eventually cause drug wars that tear apart countries. Domestically this not only hurts our economy to let all of this money funnel out of the legitimate markets but also leaves consumers in danger, with little recourse or protections in the marketplace - it also inflates our crime rate statistics. More importantly these policies infringe on key aspects of liberty and freedom - namely in the realm of bodily autonomy. So long as you are not affecting anyone else, government does not have the right to tell you what you can do with your body. There is no room in a free country for the policing of thought

When you look at it and realize the War on Drugs is nothing more then economic protectionism that counterintuitively (or perhaps by design) enables violent cartels a monopoly in the marketplace - while also successfully inflating the police industrial complex

These policies come from either ignorance or malice

I was late catching onto the Mac wave, didn't really listen until after he passed, but he made some incredible music. If you slept like I did, you're missing out.
