But everyone has a different definition of a classic... I say let the people decide. Things like this are determined through a general consensus. People that call the album trash or overrated are just borderline hating, think it's cool to be different, and are in the minority.

aint shyt classic to me unless im playing it atleast 5 years later, i never got how people could call something a classic after only a short period of time

im pretty sure everyone here at some point in time went back and listened to an album that was a "classic" and you realized that it wasn't as dope as you remember (dated beats, overhyped bars, etc.) so nikkas should know better than to deem something a classic after one damn year

See this is the problem, people can't think a popular album is WACK or overrated without them being called haters

And when people say "general consensus", a lot of the times they're just talking about white music critics who aren't hip hop lets keep it real. These are the same people who said that Kanye album was hot
