I agree the first couple of seasons were ok, but then the show took off once that third came around. I also notice they were on point with the pop culture references more than any other black sitcom.

the regard for the wayans bros show on this board is baffling. like it was "a-haaaa" funny at the time, but i never find myself interested in the reruns, jamie foxx as well

They had their moments, but when I watch them now, it just seems like they didn't age well.

About the only thing of Jamie Foxx I've liked is Ray. Too chatty, too moist, and too damned full of himself. Used to listen to his XM radio channel it's like a guy trying to talk shyt and suck his own dikk at the same time.

But, the Wayans Bros do a lot of sambo shyt on the other hand.

There were some shows that I fukked with more than others, and some I didn't fukk with at all, but the 90's was a GREAT time for blacks on the small screen. I miss that shyt. . It ain't got shyt to do with race, but shyt like Big Bang, or How I Met Your Mother is mad corny to me. I thought Seinfeld was wack he shyts on them shows.

I think Jamie Foxx and Wayans Bros are opposites because Wayans started out meh then started to get really funny by the 3rd season, while Jamie Foxx started off great but fell off. Once Jamie & Fancy became a couple and he went to Jingles 2000 the show was inconsistent until it got cancelled. I think Wayans was still in it's prime when it got cancelled

Yea I gotta go with the Jamie Foxx show, once Jamie hot Fancy it was all downhill. Also too Anna Maria Horseford and John Witherspoon were too good of a supporting cast to overlook, I'll at admit it did get a little hambone/chitlin circuit at times. But you could argue the show got canceled when it was in it's prime. Also Marlon Wayans in particular was just out of control
