My bad I kept mixing up Sucker PUnch with Insomniac. Either way I don't see why Sony acquiring them made a difference. Sly 1-3 was made by Sucker PUnch.
The series and the studio fell off after Sony bought them.
They left fun gameplay and characters behind.
For more "mature" and "cinematic" stuff like the rest of sonys devs.

Nah not true. Crash and Jak gameplay will always stand up to the test of time. Uncharted already feels stale.
MGS was always mature and cinematic.
Sony has pigeonholed all their devs into that same formula. They made evolution do it with Driveclub. Sucker punch with infamous. Even insomniac with resistance.
There's nothing wrong with mature and cinematic, but when you are throwing gameplay in the bushes for it then yeah, that's a problem.
