As my old boss told me. Get your bachelor's degree from a real school then you can get your masters from an online school while you're working because no one looks at where your masters is from, just having one is what matters to companies. He went to Phoenix online and got a 6 figure job like a month after graduating so :yeshrug:

unless its an MBA

Kinda true because with MBAs there's a lot of evil megalomaniac techniques that they are going to want you to have instilled in you to be a soulless money machine that they won't teach you getting a bachelor's outside of Wharton, Harvard and Yale business schools

Professional schools like law school, med school, dental school, and MBA programs care where you got your masters from.

The Truth
A lot of people do online degrees

I know a lot of military that enrolled into online schools abd got degrees in their field... Multiple degrees

I was thinking about enrolling into WGU, Western Governors University.

I didnt care about the degree as much as I cared about the certifications it will get me in the process. A lot of IT people my parents know go there apparently

depends on industry, you are thinking Consulting and IB

Nah all corporations want those soulless guys who will maximize profits at any costs

Professional schools like law school, med school, dental school, and MBA programs care where you got your masters from.

Well those jobs wherever you got your masters from is what really matters. If you go to a school that advertises between Jerry Springer breaks for pre med then Stanford for your medical degree they aren't going to care about you going to Everest or whatever. All they see is medical degree from Stanford. A person with a Masters is already over qualified for most jobs. That masters will get you a few extra dollars no matter where you've got it from but doctors, lawyers , dentists , and CEOs , etc is a whole other story

Yeah umuc is great if you live in the DMV area. It's great because lots of employers have employees who completed their bachelors or masters at UMUC, while working.

I know my VP and director and manager have masters from UMUC. I'm thinking about it too.

My cuzzos graduated from George Washington online, shyt was like 8,000 a semester, likewise my other cuzzo goes to John hopkins online program for like 7,000 a semester. Not worth it in my opinion while Umuc is like 3,000.

:dwillhuh:
8 and 7k is nothing for tuition at a private school like JHU and GW

Stanford is not going to admit anyone coming from Everest, Stanford cares where you got your degree.

Ask a vague-ass question, get vague-ass answers.. :francis:

My men's group looked at spending time/money on degrees being worth it careerwise
With a few exceptions, which I won't bother to enumerate here due to how vague and then argumentative op is acting,,:stopitslime:

Any effort toward your first four year degree should be at an institution accredited by one of the SEVEN regional accrediting bodies
Google that term if need be
