I wonder how todays artists fair in comparison if we consider that people have different ways of acquiring music, illegally and streaming.
If Taylor Swift moves 5 million in 2015, I wonder how many people acquired her album in total through any venue.

Or if Drake moves a million in the genre that steals music the most, I wonder if more people listen to him than say Eminem. Cause tour wise these new artists are doing bigger shows and making more money than the people in the late 90s. J. Cole and Big Sean are doing the same show Jay, DMX and Ja Rule did together in the 90s. Motherfukking Meek and Nicky are doing the same tour Dr. Dre, Eminem, Cube, Xz and Snoop did together 15 years ago.

All Eyez on me count as 1 album is just double disc it still sold 10 mil and life after death
No it's counted as 2, i saw the sales a few years ago and it was at like 4.6 million. 7 day at like 3.9-4 and Matw at like 3.1 ish.

If it's over 100 minutes it's double, they sold double albums for like 50 % higher price too.
Probably why Big added Nasty girl and Another, which brought it from 99 minutes to 108 :troll:

Also weren't double albums more expensive than single albums?

more than double the cost usually, thats why the "they were double albums so they really sold 5 million :troll: " from :beli: nephews means nothing because people was paying for 2 cds still (actually a few dollars more)

its 2015 how do people STILL not understand how this shyt works :damn:

just cause a rapper says something means NOTHING, if RIAA aint certify it, then its not certified. Its that simple. International sales have their own certifications. I just dont get how we have this fukking conversation every few months and its usually the same fukking idiots in the same threads (50cent stans) :snoop:

seriously, just go to the RIAA site and look the shyt up yourself :snoop: its not hard :snoop:

Riaa has the album listed as 6 times platinum domestic. Its not certified 8 times platinum.

And theres no such thing as diamond worldwide. Each individual country gives certifications on different milestones. Its a silly plaque that should just say 10 million copies or whatever.

GRODT still sold 8.3 Million copies, Curtis sold over 1 million copies in the U.S. but was never certified Platinum.
