Both pretty much perfect but OB4CL is the crowning achievement of Wu-Tang.

Liquid Swords ONLY for better overall production, posse cuts, lyricism, diversity and less filler. (Always felt like 1 or 2 joints coulda been left off OB4CL).
But Rae got the better voice & flow, and MORE RECOGNIZABLE classics (Ice Cream, Criminology, Rainy Dayz, Heaven & Hell, etc...) hands down.

liquid swords. it was an album that was deep on so many levels. ob4cl is deep but not as deep as liquid swords. ob4cl was a thuggish album which made you relate to a criminal. liquid swords had something for everybody where they could relate to it, from the nerds, to the thugs, to the dealers, to the kids, to the people that were looking for higher learning and etc without losing its edge as a dark and haunting album.
Cuban Linx with the intro, and then Wu-Gambinos followed by Heaven and Hell to close it off (OG Purple Tape people), just makes it epic, putting it in the upper echelon of music period. But there are still days when I feel that Liquid Swords is better.
If there is ANY album that deserved 5 Mics from the jump, it was this.
But if someone wants to get into Wu, I'd name these solos
Cuban Linx, Liquid Swords, Ironman, Return of the 36 Chambers, No Said Date, Tical, Cuban Linx 2, Supreme Clientele, Bobby Digital in Stereo, Digital Bullet. You cover every style with that.
