I have two essential jobs, one at a healthcare center (they won't even let you in the building if you have any symptoms ) and the other at the military commissary (started closing at 6pm and I get there around 5pm ). And now they talmbout giving us hazard pay at the commissary...

Yeah masks are mandatory at the healthcare center so I gotta smell my own breath all day but the other jobs is giving out masks this weekend and I already wear gloves since I'm touching produce.

I am at work now..

I am very fortunate to have an essential job that is definitely needed to keep the economy going!

Yes, being on the freeway with light to moderate traffic is great, especially for Southern California!!

I commute to work, so to get to/from work in less than an hour is something I wish would last for as long as I am working, but I wish we didn't have to get to this point to have a great traffic.

I would rather be at home, but I have to go in.

They need to essentially start providing us with adequate ppe and better hazard pay...I am a supervisor in a warehouse and even tho we got a raise and some more shyt its not enough...NOBODY should have to work in a global pandemic unless you are working from home...not worth it and its prolonging the lockdown
