Yeah it feels good to not have to fight through traffic, i can leave damn near 30 minutes to being there and make it with time to spare, when i go to some things it’s easy to get some stuff and get out

They are. Only alternate side parking is suspended. People where i park get tickets all the time because they think meters are suspended or that normal no standing till 6pm spots are safe. They still have traffic guards out like crazy

Yup! Just paid a 150 dollar ticket because of the no standing rule & had to learn the hard way.

Nah my company mad we, the employers, still working but we’re essential, unionized and they can’t force us to go home. Whenever we want to go home we can. Jsut clock o and leave but it’s easy money.

Essential worker here. Got over 20hrs OT and our hazard pay started this week. Im superstitious so i aint even trying to gloat or show my ass im just blessed to be working while so many around me are assed out.

I was seriously considering switching careers and going full time into IT but job security is key for me and if its running during some end of the world shyt u cant beat that. Imma still go for them certs part time as a back plan tho

It's good . I have no license tho. Haven't had l's in 20 plus years. I got the company letter tho. My job makes and sell respiratory devices. I'm not ever going to have to stay home. While everyone else's stocks been looking shytty, my company stocks are surging. I get 20 plus an hour, they gave us an extra 3 an hour plus a 1000 bonus every month until it's over.

I'm still working but outside of front desk security, my department is really the only ones still there daily. Everybody else is working from home. I work for an eyewear giant through another company and we handle their printing/mailing. My side (printing) has been pretty dead the last few weeks but the mail side has been quite steady. Other departments here can only send 1 person in a few times a week just to collect work to take back home. My building can house up to 1000+ people but there's not even 30 in that place now.
My department just changed our hours the other day. They split us all up into teams so now I'll be going in every other day but still getting paid for each day. I hate this new schedule but at least I'm still getting paid out here. Wonder how long they can keep it up though.
