Visually.... Amazing.... Plot was awkward though... I could see this being a cult classic in 20 years because it does just enough to get by. However, It is hard to enjoy a"Revenge" flick when pretty much all of the characters are unlikable...

Last time I listen to Coli about movies, not only did I waste 90 minutes on this abomination but I also listened to the Coli about After Earth and saw that bullshyt, but that's my fault.

I think the devil/god symbolism, visuals, and sound will cause it to be a cult classic in the not so distant future... I think you get a better writer in and it is a classic... Refn is talented, but he cannot write...

Still one of the best movies of the year to me, but I knew what I was getting beforehand instead of expecting Drive 2.

This is the key to maybe not liking the movie, but at least understanding it. Most people really expected a movie in the same vein as drive, and though this would be a straight forward revenge movie. This is a fantasy story foremost, the genesis of the movie comes from Refn wanting to make a movie about a man who wants to pick a fight with god, there is no true revenge to be had. I think the movie is tense, unique, and absolutely gorgeous, and is understood best as seen as "fairytale"

I thought it was movie about God's wrath and the Devil's fall from grace. "Who wants to Box with God"....and God was very angry in this movie.
