Lyrically he did everything required of him. This is a flawless album, he just stunted right through the whole thing. An example of another artist I've seen do this is Mac Dre in 'Genie of the Lamp' and 'Ronald Dregan: Dreganomics' . . just going through the whole album stunting on it from a high on life perspective. Albums that could be performed in their entirety and be a great performance demonstrating everything you'd wanna see from the artist.

It's cause it's always Nas Stans.

Like saying southern rappers make trap/strip/club anthems, while French Montana, Tyga and certain other rappers made them as well. An incredible majority of the strip club joints are from the south. It's like this with every major artist tho. The same people, complain about the same things, while continuing to grab the music at the same time.

Jay-z only raps about money, Nas can't pick beats, Rick Ross makes the same song every time, one Lil Wayne punch line ruins entire albums, The Game name drops too much, etc etc

I genuinly don't like it, it's boring to me. I felt most of his albums, I think I like every one, even this I don't think is the worst shyt EVER, just in my opinion Jay's worst. Somone mentioned he sounds like a older man trying to be young and trendy rather than making mature music. He's witty though so he drops shyt in but when I compare it to other artists I listen to it falls very short as a creative piece of work.
