Saying a woman is a single mother is directly saying the father is uninvolved and deadbeat. Just because you are separated from the mother of your children does not make her a single mother or you a deadbeat. You are co-parents. Women who call themselves "single mothers" when they are fully supported by the father with rearing children dont understand at all what a single mother is. Likewise, calling someone a single mother is a direct insult to a supportive father.
