Depends on what you mean by militant. Like banking black, black love, and activism aren't really militant to me more pro black and some suburban blacks are at the forefront. I think that if they've made it or more likely their parents did.that it's good for them to try to give back or stay within the community but many of them have a savior complex and believe themselves to superior toward black people who were born in worse circumstances.

That's because they grow up unappreciative and spoiled af; they were handed all the "good things" in life and didn't have to grow up with the same struggle or put the same effort into a come up as those in hoods. So instead of just riding that wave - they need to create a struggle. claiming gangs and false flagging shyt or on the opposite spectrum being an overly aggressive hyper militant- as paths to credibility. Along with the "suburb kid problems" mentality - "yo.. i'm mad tight. my mom didn't get me the iPhone X, I gotta walk around with this 7s, this embarrassing" (even though parents pay the bill) , "i crashed my mom's bmw, but now she won't let me have the keys to the benz- idk wtf her problem is" - meanwhile sits in room all day with attitude, not interacting with family, while playing on his xbox, playstation, ipad, iphone on the ultra hd 46in tv flat screen. Not realizing this mentality and the gang culture don't mesh; instead of focusing on positive opportunities.

yes, because i believe you're assuming. even if i were to consider your answer, you'd have to be sensible enough to know that more access to knowledge doesn't equal more educated, which you could make an argument that suburbs have. and being from the suburbs don't automatically raise your IQ.Are you really asking me if people in the suburbs are generally more educated than people in the hood?
that's almost talented 10th idealism you're speaking of, that somehow people with access to knowledge centers some how are more capable of leading people. i think it's foolish to subscribe to that idea, whether you're from the suburbs or not. i'd tell both the suburb black and the hood black you're both the same
on the contrary, i'd argue that being in the suburbs has remove most people from highly populated black areas, hence why when these other blacks, that have been removed from culture and the experience you'd get from mingling with others in your race, get A LITTLE BIT OF EDUCATION about black issues, they react in such drastic fashion.
i've seen it throughout my college career; i grew up inner city NYC but when i majored in African-American studies in NC, in the suburbs, in a predominately white university, with other blacks that had not lived anywhere else in their lives, i could see how them talking on topics they regularly weren't faced with shifted their attitude. i would ask myself why they found themselves so angry and drastic about information my own father, who was part of the NOI, had told me for years and drilled into my head. i realized i was years into hearing information that they had only begun to accept and try to navigate.
it's one of the reasons i pretty much stopped trying to deal thru my degree, i realized all they want to do is vent and talk about the problems. no solutions. and that's all online militancy is; an attempt to vent without being held accountable...
