There's a lot of literature out there on the relationship/connection/transition between revolutionaries and gang members/bandits/outlaws - this goes back even to feudal China, and you can see it with groups like the Black Guerrilla Family, etc. If they ever got a proper political orientation and didn't leech off the community and decided to defend it...

If you've read Stokley, he talks a lot about how these individuals are the ones that need to be reached at all costs. Because not only do they have a very intimate understanding of poverty and being disadvantaged in this country, they also have nothing to lose and everything to gain unlike middle or upper class blacks that have their favorable lifestyle to maintain. It's a reason why Pac was a very dangerous individual, you can't be of the struggle, conscious of it, and willing to speak on it without being a threat to mainstream society. Its the ones at the bottom with the most incentive to bring change but without any focus or knowledge that energy is turned inward into more destructive behavior.

But honestly, I agree with this sentiment. Them nikkaz in the hood are our warriors, and this system has done a fantastic job of corrupting them and turning them against us and themselves.

The discussion is called, "Gangs and the Lumpenproletariat Class Base of Anti-System Struggle." The lumpenproletariat (gang members, pimps, other members of the "illicit underclass") are the same folks the Black Panther Party focused on organizing. That approach has pros and cons, but it is a necessary element in anti-capitalist struggle. The lumpenproletariat shouldn't be disregarded as a lot of traditional, European-style Marxists suggest... As the BPP recognized, that isn't even an option for Afrikans in the U.S., since racism deprives Afrikan communities of economic opportunity. Pushed out of the ranks of the formal working-class, folks fall into the lumpenproletariat.

It seems that OPs viewpoint is that its ALL white peoples fault so black thugs should kill them all and make the world right. When are we going to move past the white supremacy argument (which is fully legitimate) and start looking at communities taking responsibilities for themselves. If you don't want white police in your hoods, then regulate them better yourselves. Giuliani is a piece of shyt but he's not off-base with his comments regarding police in your communities. White supremacy and the historic racial divide may have created the atmosphere that ruins your communities, but your communities with their own free will continue to further their shytty cycle.

This. The greatest threat to a black man is another black man. 80% of all crimes against blacks are by blacks. So how do these guys plan to address this issue? White people and white cops are a very very small portion of the violence against blacks yet that's all the coli wants to focus on.

Black on Black crime is like any other race's intra-racial crimes, due to ever present conflict, its only superimposed moreso than others due to worse social and economic conditions in Black communities which is in correlation with White Supremacy....so it would be prudent to use those at the bottom to attack, as they have the spirit to do so.....

These cats could be drug dealers, running fraud rings, dealing weaponry, pimps, etc. They already have the mindset of leaving the game, think Stringer Bell in The Wire, and they can really instill that entrepreneurship spirit blacks once had to make it on our own economically without white mainstream society .
